Species Shifting is when a chameleon changes their brain pattern, thus change into any kind of species in order to blend in. They are seemingly able to assume the abilities of any creature they turn into.

This power allows the user to turn into another species altogether, similar to shapeshifting, though it does not affect their physical appearances.
It is effective in blending in with another species or hide in plainsight, such as entering an event exclusive to witches or vampires. Kylie Galen once snuck into a werewolf engagement ceremony while shifted into a werewolf.

- Power Shifting: By changing their species, they alter their powers altogether.
Limitations[]
For a regular chameleon, it is not easy to control the shift. They may require years of practice before they begin to shift into other species. Even once the shifting power has manifested, it is not easily controlled.
A chameleon can only assume the species they already have inside their DNA, meaning if they lack a certain set of genetics, they will not be able to assume the species they lack.
